Jackson Hole One Fly Capital Foundation
The Jackson Hole One Fly Capital Foundation (JHOFCF) is the non-profit
organization that manages and leverages the funds raised from the One
Fly Event to invest in trout stream habitat improvement projects.
The Jackson Hole One Fly Capital Foundation places an emphasis on watershed planning and an increased
focus on native trout conservation. The program reorganization requires
that fishery and trout habitat projects be developed in a watershed
context. Projects could still have a single-site focus, but they needed
to demonstrate a larger watershed perspective.
JHOFCF grants should be promoted as a means to
initiate and support larger watershed scale projects. The analysis of
JHOFCF resource projects indicates that trout
habitat protection and conservation remains our hallmark activity. As
recent trends indicate, the integration of this traditional trout habitat
improvement work with watershed planning and conservation programs
offers even greater potential for future Jackson Hole One Fly Capital
Foundation conservation work.
